Terms of Use: TAS Community Leagues

Last updated: Oct 11, 2026 · Version 1.0

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of TAS Community Leagues at leagues.totalaisports.com (the "Service"), a tool for running community and amateur sports leagues: teams, rosters, schedules, score clocks, stats, shot charts, practices and attendance. The Service is operated by Numa Technologies Corporation ("Numa", "we", "us"), Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

By creating an account, accepting an invite or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Accounts

  • Your account works across the Total AI Sports sites (including Total AI Fantasy Sports and Total Sports News). Keep your login details accurate and private, and use two-step verification if offered. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • People 13 and older may create their own account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms with you.
  • Children under 13 may not create their own account. A child under 13 may take part only through a parent or guardian, who gives consent on the child's behalf and manages the child's information (see section 3).

2. Organizations and leagues

Leagues belong to an organization. The person who creates a league or organization confirms they are authorized to act for it and is responsible for how the league uses the Service, including following its own rules, its sport's governing-body rules and the law.

3. Minors, parents and guardians

  • Consent. Before adding a player under 18 to a roster, uploading their photo or publishing their stats, the league must have the consent of that player's parent or guardian (and, for a player 13 or older, should also tell the player). For a player under 13, parent or guardian consent is required for any account, roster entry, photo or stats.
  • Parent and guardian accounts. One parent or guardian account can manage several children across different leagues. A parent or guardian can see only their own children's information, including practice attendance (not other families'), and can RSVP to practices for their children. A parent or guardian joins through an invite from the league's commissioner, a league manager, or their child's coach or team manager, and is linked to their child's player record; parents have view-only access to their child's team schedule.
  • Removal requests. A parent or guardian (or an adult player) can ask the league, or us at privacy@totalaisports.com, to remove a child's photo, hide their stats from public pages, or delete their information. We'll act on verified requests promptly, generally within 10 business days, and leagues must cooperate.

4. Roles and responsibilities

Each league member has one role in that league. People in each role agree to the responsibilities below. Roles control what the Service lets each person do, and those limits are enforced by our servers.

  • Commissioner: the league's top authority. Manages settings, seasons, the league's plan and billing, members and roles, teams, schedules, results and stats. Responsible for the league's compliance with these Terms, getting the consents in section 3, and the accuracy of what the league publishes.
  • League manager: helps the commissioner with day-to-day operations (teams, players, games, results, score clock, shots, stats, practices) and may invite officials, teams and coaches. Can't change settings, seasons, members (other than permitted invites) or the plan.
  • Coach and team manager: tied to one team. May invite players to that team and manage that team's roster and practice attendance. Must only add players, photos and stats with the consents in section 3, and must not access or change other teams.
  • Official: sees and works the games they are assigned to and must record results accurately and impartially.
  • Player: has read-only access to the league and schedule. Adult players are responsible for their own information.
  • Viewer and public visitors: can see public league pages and schedules.

Everyone must keep information they see about other members (especially minors) confidential and use it only for league purposes.

5. Invites

Commissioners and league managers can invite officials, teams and coaches; coaches and team managers can invite players. Invites are sent by email or shared as links, are tied to a role (and team), and expire. Only invite people you know who expect it, and never invite a child under 13 directly; invite their parent or guardian. Treat invite links like passwords. Accepting an invite may create an account and gives you the role it describes; a league can change or remove your role later.

6. Public league pages and schedules

Commissioners choose what each league shows publicly. Public pages and schedules can show the league, organization, teams, game dates, times, locations, scores, standings and, depending on the plan and the league's choices, rosters, player names, numbers, photos and stats. We never show members' email addresses publicly. Leagues must limit public information about minors to what parents or guardians have agreed to, and should avoid posting minors' full names with photos where possible. Practice details and attendance are not public.

7. Paid plans

Leagues can use the Service free within the free plan's limits. Paid league plans (currently monthly plans and add-ons shown in the app, in US dollars unless stated) are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically each month until cancelled. The commissioner can cancel by emailing legal@totalaisports.com (or using a cancel option if shown); cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and the league returns to free-plan limits. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we don't give credits for partial months. We'll give at least 30 days' notice of price increases for existing plans.

8. Content

You keep ownership of content you upload (logos, photos, rules documents, stats, messages). You grant Numa a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and process it to run the Service, including showing it on public pages where the league chooses. You confirm you have the rights and consents needed, including for photos of other people. We may remove content that breaks these Terms or that we receive a valid removal request for.

9. Accuracy and safety

Schedules, scores, clocks and stats are entered by leagues and may contain errors. The Service is not a safety, emergency, medical, background-check or child-protection service. Leagues remain responsible for screening volunteers, supervising minors and following their safe-sport policies.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Numa and its directors, employees and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount the league paid us in the 12 months before the claim or CAD $100. Nothing here limits rights under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

11. Indemnity

Leagues and organizations, and the people acting for them, agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from claims arising from their content, their handling of members' (including minors') information, or their breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove leagues, content or accounts that break these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy or put minors at risk. You may close your account at any time; league records you contributed may remain in league history.

13. Changes

We'll update the "Last updated" date and version when these Terms change and give notice of material changes in the Service or by email.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saskatchewan, except where consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
